This varied route will first take you to the Col de la Forclaz before climbing to the Mont de l'Arpille: take the opportunity to take a break, after having already achieved 800m of elevation gain, and admire the landscape from this point 360° view. An orientation table will help you find your way around. A long descent then awaits you to reach the Trient gorges, during which you will cross a series of typical hamlets of the region. You will continue with a climb of 1300 m in altitude to reach the Col de Balme and the Franco-Swiss border, before descending to Trient by a path without technical difficulty.
