After taking a deep breath and enjoying the 360° view on the Portes du Soleil area, you start your run down by the road to the Portes de l'hiver pass. Then you will run on a road used by sheeps until the "Lac Vert", a 1980m high natural lake. This lake is a jewel and famous hike in the Portes du Soleil. After reaching this lake, you will continue to another one, the Chesery lake and run down by a technical path. You will arrive at the Tovassière restaurant, a typical swiss farm where you can stop and take a break half way. You will then be facing a 2,5km up run on a large path. This is the main difficulty of your run, you will arrive at the legendary Col des Portes du Soleil. Then it continues for 1,5km down, and going through pastures. You arrive on the village by a road.
